What We Want to See in Apple’s Next Smartphone

Apple is set to release their next iPhone and there is a lot of speculation about what the new phone will entail. There are many rumors circulating on the internet, but we want to share with you some of the things we hope to see in Apple’s next smartphone.

An always-on display

is one of the most important features we hope to see. An always-on display would allow users to see vital information at a glance without having to wake their phone up. This would be extremely beneficial for things like checking the time and seeing notifications. Apple has been rumored to be working on this feature for a while now, so fingers crossed it makes an appearance in the next iPhone.

Better optical zoom

is another feature that would be greatly appreciated. The current iPhones only offer digital zoom, which results in low-quality images. If Apple could include better optical zoom, it would make a world of difference for photography enthusiasts.

Faster wireless charging

is something else we’d love to see in the next iPhone. The current wireless charging speeds are painfully slow, so any sort of improvement would be greatly appreciated.

Ditch Lightning for USB-C

is probably the most controversial thing on this list. Ditching Lightning would mean having to buy all new accessories, but it would also mean being able to use the same charger for both your iPhone and your laptop. USB-C is rapidly becoming the standard, so it makes sense for Apple to make the switch at some point.

Satellite communications

is the last thing we want to see in the next iPhone. Satellite communications would allow you to use your phone even when there is no cell service. This would be extremely beneficial for people who live in rural areas or travel to remote locations.
