Do you really need another kitchen gadget? Probably not. In fact, most of the time, those gadgets we buy for our kitchens are either pretty useless or just not needed at all. Sure, they might make our lives a little bit easier, but is it really worth the extra space in our cabinets and on our countertops? Here are 10 kitchen gadgets that are useless and you don’t need!

1. Pie slicing tool

This is one gadget that is pretty much useless. Sure, it might make slicing pies a little bit easier, but chances are you already have a knife that can do the job just as well – if not better.

2. Measuring spoon

If you already have measuring cups, do you really need a measuring spoon? Probably not. You can probably get by with using one of your regular teaspoons or tablespoons.

3. The Dipr

Is a kitchen gadget that allows you to easily dip cookies, fruit, and other snacks into milk or melted chocolate without making a mess. It’s basically a plastic cup with a hole in the bottom that fits over a cookie. The problem is, it’s really not necessary. You can just as easily use a regular cup or even a fork to dip your snacks.

4. Stainless steel soap

One of those gadgets that you see and think, “Do I really need this?” The answer is probably no. You can easily wash your hands with regular soap and water. Stainless steel soap is just another gadget taking up space in your kitchen.

5. Juice sprayer

This is one gadget that is pretty much useless. You can easily juice your fruits and vegetables without one of these. Just use a regular old kitchen knife!

6. Egg sucker

This gadget is designed to help you suck the yolk out of an egg, but let’s be honest, it’s just a lot easier (and less messy) to use a fork.

7. Lid vent

This is one of those gadgets that you see and think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” But then you use it once or twice and realize that it’s actually pretty useless. It’s great for keeping your kitchen smelling fresh, but it doesn’t do much to actually ventilate the space. So unless you’re constantly cooking with smelly ingredients, you can probably do without this one.

8. Egg cuber

Egg cubers are one of those gadgets that are more trouble than they’re worth. If you want cube-shaped eggs, there’s an easy way to do it: just cut them into cubes with a knife!

9. Banana splitters

Are one of those gadgets that you think you need, but in reality, you probably don’t. You can easily split a banana with a knife or even just your hands! Plus, do you really need to have a dedicated gadget for bananas? We think not.

10. Tea bag holder

Tea bag holders are one of those gadgets that are pretty much useless. If you need to hold your tea bag while it steeps, just use a spoon!

So there you have it! These are just some of the many useless gadgets out there that you probably don’t need. Next time you’re tempted to buy that new kitchen gadget, ask yourself if it’s really necessary. More often than not, the answer will be no! And your wallet will thank you for it. 🙂
