Cozy Travel Cushions

One of our favorite DIY pet hacks is this one for making your own travel cushions. If you’re going on a road trip with your pets, these are a must! All you need is some old pillows or blankets, a sewing machine and some stuffing. Simply sew the three sides together, stuff with the filling of your choice and voila! Your pets will have their own cozy spot to sleep on during the drive.

Doll Beds for Tiny Pups

There are plenty of Tiny dog beds out there for your itty bitty pup, but they can be quite pricey. If you’re handy with a sewing machine, you can easily make your own Tiny dog bed with this tutorial. All you need is some fabric, stuffing and a little bit of time and you’ll have a custom Tiny dog bed that’s sure to please your pup.

For a fun and unique twist on traditional pet beds, you can repurpose old doll beds into Tiny dog beds. This is a great way to upcycle something that would otherwise be headed for the trash and it’ll give your Tiny dog a one-of-a-kind bed that’s sure to be the envy of all their four-legged friends. Check out this tutorial to see how it’s done.

Pet Bowl Stand

If you have a small pet, chances are their bowl is always getting knocked over. A simple way to fix this is to make a stand for their bowl out of an old shoe box. Just cut a hole in the top of the box and voila!

Dog Crate and Bedside Table

Dog crate that doubles as a bedside table! This is such a great space-saving hack, and it looks so much nicer than a traditional wire dog crate. Plus, your pup will love having their own little “den” to sleep in.

Shelf Cat Tree Hack

Shelf Cat Tree Hack is perfect for small spaces and lazy cats. All you need is a cat tree base, a shelf and some sisal rope. Simply screw the base into the shelf and wrap the sisal rope around the posts. Your cat will have a new place to scratch, climb and nap, and you’ll have a stylish piece of furniture that doesn’t take up much space.

Kitty Window Lounger

If you’re a cat owner, chances are you’ve seen those adorable kitty window loungers or perches that let your feline friend sun themselves while bird watching. While they are available for purchase online or at pet stores, did you know that you can easily make your own DIY version at home?

Here’s what you’ll need:

– A piece of plywood or cardboard (depending on how heavy your cat is)

– Felt or another soft fabric in a color of your choice

– Scissors

– Hot glue gun and glue sticks

– Staple gun and staples

First, cut the plywood or cardboard into a rectangular shape. It should be big enough for your cat to comfortably lie on. Next, cut the fabric into a rectangle that is slightly larger than the piece of wood.

Now it’s time to assemble everything! Place the fabric face down on a flat surface and put the piece of wood on top. Use the hot glue gun to attach the fabric to the wood, making sure to pull tight as you go so there are no wrinkles or bunching. Once the entire perimeter is glued down, flip it over and use the staple gun to secure the fabric on the back side.

Cat Food Tray

If you’re tired of your cat knocking over their food bowl, or making a mess when they eat, try this simple hack. Get a cheap plastic tray from the dollar store and put it under your cat’s food bowl. The raised edges will help keep the food contained, and your cat will have an easier time eating.

There are endless possibilities when it comes to DIY pet projects. So whether you have a dog, cat, or any other type of pet, get creative and see what you can come up with! Your furry friend will thank you. :)”
