Use pennies to extend the life of your batteries! pennies are made of copper, which is a great conductor of electricity. Simply place a penny in each battery compartment and you’ll notice your gadget lasts just a little bit longer.

5. Remote control not working

If your remote control has stopped working, try using a paperclip! Just bend the paperclip into a small hook and insert it into the battery compartment. Then touch the end of the paperclip to the positive and negative terminals of the batteries. If the remote still doesn’t work, you might need new batteries.
