If you’re looking to get into shape, these are 10 of the best health hacks to help you! I’ve been on a roller coaster of a health journey – some ups and some downs. I’ve tried different diets and types of exercises. Unfortunately, I’ve been on a down for the last several months. That’s about to change (more on that soon). I’m in the beginning stages of taking back control, which means researching and finding out what will work best for me and my family. I found some pretty cool posts that I thought might be worthwhile to share here. Not sure what a “hack” is? A hack is just a cool term that means something that makes life easier in some way – it often helps
1. Make sure to get 8 glasses of water in daily.
Make sure to get eight glasses of water in daily. This is a great way to flush out toxins and keep your skin looking healthy and hydrated.
2. Consider CrossFit
I have a friend who swears by CrossFit. It’s a high-intensity workout that can be tailored to any fitness level. The best part is that there’s always a coach present to help you with proper form and technique.
3. Track your meals with a printable food journal
This is a great way to stay on top of what you’re eating and to make sure you’re getting the nutrients you need.
4. Make a playlist
This is one of my favorite health hacks because it makes working out so much more fun! I love putting together a killer playlist of all my favorite songs to help me get pumped up for a workout.
5. Get your family involved.
It can be tough to stay on track with healthy eating and exercise when you’re doing it alone. But if you involve your family, you’ll have built-in support and accountability. Plus, it’s a great way to bond and spend time together.
6. Don’t be afraid to try new products/recipes.
This is one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever received, and it’s something that I’m constantly reminding myself of. Trying new things is how we learn and grow, and it’s essential to keeping our bodies healthy. Who knows – you might just find your new favorite healthy dish!
7. Find workouts that you love and go with them.
If you dread your workout, you’re less likely to stick with it. But if you find an activity that’s fun for you, you’re more likely to keep at it and see results. There are a million different ways to get active, so there’s bound to be something out there that you’ll love. Try a few different things until you find your perfect fit.
8. Make a set of workout dice
This is a great way to add some variety to your workouts. You can make them as simple or as complicated as you want. For example, you could have one die for the type of exercise (e.g., cardio, strength training, yoga, etc.) and another die for the duration (e.g., 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, etc.). Or you could have a die for the type of exercise and another for the number of repetitions. The possibilities are endless!
9. Bag and freeze green smoothies so that they are ready for you.
This is a great hack if you’re short on time in the mornings, or if you know you won’t have time to make a healthy breakfast during the week. Simply blend up your ingredients the night before, pour it into a baggie or mason jar, and freeze it. In the morning, all you have to do is grab your smoothie and go!
10. Make a cute headband.
I’m not a big fan of working out, but I do like to look good while doing it. This hack is both practical and stylish. All you need is an old t-shirt and a pair of scissors. Cut the shirt into a long strip, fold it in half, and tie it around your head. Voila! You’ve got a cute and functional headband that will keep your hair out of your face while you sweat.
There you have it – ten of the best health hacks that I have tried or that I can’t wait to try. I hope you find them helpful and that they help you on your journey to becoming the healthiest version of yourself! Thanks for reading.Until next time.
